Study: Obese children tend to have poor lifestyle habits
A study in the American Heart Journal found that a higher percentage of obese sixth-grade children reported less physical activity, two hours of screen time in the past day and eating lunch sold in schools compared with non-obese counterparts. Promoting lifestyle changes and preparing more nutritious foods in schools may help reverse obesity trends, the lead study author said. Read More.
